Transform the way you communicate

Using Digital Signage To Communicate With Your Team

For companies with multiple sites, or even businesses with multiple teams working across a building, company wide communication can be slow, unreliable or fragmented. Digital signage provides a way of communicating information in real time, directly to the people that need to see it.

We have looked at the ways in which digital signage can be used in a corporate environment, including broadcasting video, displaying live statistics or even for emergency wayfinding. Having quality hardware to be able to display this content is of course a key component in being able to communicate effectively, however the software you use to publish it can enhance the content and help you build on your communication strategy.

Using WebView To Display Content

Conceptunet are partnered with specialist digital signage software providers SignStix to allow us to provide our clients with a comprehensive digital signage solution. SignStix’s WebView tool acts as a controller for dynamic digital content that can be embedded into the signage canvas, allowing for useful and engaging content to be displayed. Here are some examples of what WebView enables users to do…

Display a web page or live dashboard

Users can integrate interactive and non-interactive web widgets onto the signage canvas to display various pieces of content including dashboards, intranets or company websites.

Import dynamic /wp-content/uploads

You are able to dynamically import /wp-content/uploads from an external application such as sales figures, stats or even content assets, giving you the ability to display the information in relevant areas of your company to aid productivity and efficiency.

Event-based triggers & Internet of Things

Through use of the WebView API, you can dynamically change content based on external
events, such as time, weather and team proximity. External elements such as lighting and music can all be controlled via the WebView API too. Read more on the importance of the Internet of Things to businesses in 2019 here.
