Adina is a distributor of ingredients to the beauty and personal care industry. They are a team of technical consultants, ingredient experts, marketers and trend hunters, working with brands and formulators from sourcing and sampling, right through to product development support.

Adina recently took a stand at the Society of Cosmetic Scientists (SCS) Formulate exhibition in Coventry.

The Challenge

With an audience of highly engaged cosmetic industry professionals, the exhibition provided an ideal opportunity for Adina to showcase their latest personal care and cosmetic products to potential buyers.

With so many other exhibitors the Adina team wanted to create an exhibition stand with an attention-grabbing display that was both engaging and interactive. With over 19 products to showcase in a limited space an innovative solution was needed that would not only allow customers to handle the products but also communicate their key features and benefits.

The Solution

Conceptunet, and its partner SignStix, collaborated with the Adina team to bring Lift and Learn (L&L) technology into their stand design.

A digital screen was used to display the product information, with content being drawn from the cloud-based SignStix CMS.

When one of the products on display was lifted from the shelf, information about that specific product was displayed on the digital screen, helping potential new customers to learn more about Adina personal care and cosmetic products.

We worked with the stand designer to incorporate sensors and cabling into the shelving and stand design. This allowed for easy installation of the tech and a neat and tidy look for the stand.

The Results

We managed the entire process from Proof of Concept, supply of L&L tech and SignStix media player, CMS configuration, installation and content deployment.

The combination of accessible layout and use of the latest digital technology really elevated and enhanced the visitor experience on the stand.

It drew attention and footfall from passers-by, who were keen to engage with staff and to find out more about the products on the stand, by using L&L interactive display.
